Gays Against Guns Featured in Excellent 2018 Boston Pride Guide | GAG In the News

Gays Against Guns has been featured on Boston's annual, massive and exquisitely produced 2018 Boston Pride Guide.

The featured story, entitled "Staring Down the Barrel" and written by GAG New York founding member Lou Markert, recounts a confrontation he had with a father and son while demonstrating at a gun show in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains last fall.

Mr. Markert uses this encounter to articulate the many ways LGBTQ people are uniquely qualified to fight the gun lobby and the politicians who benefit from using the gun culture as a means to maintain power.

As Mr. Markert writes, LGBTQ people know the reality of what's happening “because we’ve seen it. We’ve seen it all before.”
