Big Meeting

Come to next Thursday's General Meeting where we will plan for Inaugural Weekend Action in DC.

Buses are going down on both 1/20 and 1/21.

We'll need members to be marshals, commit to being a Human Being, flyering, and documenting the actions.

About the Action

GaG is Watching! Join us in Washington DC for the Women's March.

We have a roundtrip bus leaving NYC early in the morning on January 21st. Come as you are or volunteer to be a 'Human Being'.

To be an Human Being means you will silently march to represent a victim of gun violence. At the Women's March on Saturday January 21st we will be bringing attention to women and transwomen who have died as a result of domestic violence, suicide and hate crimes.

Gays Against Guns NY is an inclusive group of LGBTQ people and their allies committed to nonviolently fighting the forces enabling gun violence in the U.S. on the local, state and national level.

We are New York-based but work with GAG chapters in other cities to ensure safety for all individuals, particularly vulnerable communities such as people of color, LGBTQ people, religious minorities and their significant overlap.

We are committed to sustaining public attention and anger on the dangerous and outsize influence of the gun lobby. We strongly believe that bigotry and hate plus easy access to lethal weapons is a deadly combination for such groups.
